Eyes are windows to the soul.
When opened up they can see,
the pain of life as it unfolds.
Submit myself to agony.
Camoflage the way I feel.
Put on a happy face.
They dont care if pain is real,
as long as I dont bring disgrace.
Be their plastic little toy.
Surround them with my laugh.
Become their perfect little boy.
Hide my vengeful little wrath.
Until the day I cant contain,
The torment, anguish or the pain.
Then let loose and they will see.
Their eyes so wide in disbelief.
It's said I've got my fathers eyes.
(All the things that Daddy did)
And Like my mother I disguise.
The bruises I recieved as a kid.
If you could see into my soul.
I'm sure you'd plainly see.
Why I sit here in the cold.
Denying my reality.
"If I do infact have my Father's eyes , please gouge them out for me.
Pray, one day i will see life , without those painful memories.""""
